If I pay for all the remedial treatment now what’s to stop it all requiring correction again in a few months time?
Most fine imperfections are due to improper washing techniques and ways of treating/storing the vehicle. With every detail you will be provided with full instruction explaining correct washing techniques and how to avoid future imperfections. If this sequence is adhered to the car will be much easier to clean in the future and with a small amount of care you can keep the same finish indefinately as was achieved immediately post correction.
This all sounds quite high tech near valuable and exotic car paintwork. Is there any cause for concern?
Our detailers are highly skilled and trained professionals who have been in the detailing world for years. The safety of your vehicle paint is the prime concern of the operator who will never take any risks if in doubt.
For your peace of mind however our operators are fully insured.
Can paint types such as metallics and pearls be corrected?
Yes of course, the correction only refines the surface of the top layer of paint. In most cases this is clearcoat laquer that is present on all pearls, metallics and modern flat colours. Older paints with solid colours are corrected in the same way but treating the colour coat.
Where can the process be carried out?
With the exception of certain extras, detailing and paint correction can be carried out at a location of your choice as long as there are water and electricity supplies present.
Where a Stark correction detail are concerned it is preferable for us to carry out the work at our premises – fully insured delivery and collection can be included for your convenience instead of callout.
However the services are fully mobile and travel is included to any postcode within 20 miles of Newcastle upon Tyne (NE1).
We are happy to travel to any UK location with extra travel charged at fuel and accommodation rate, please contact us for a quotation.
Do I need to provide anything to the detailer upon arrival?
All we ask is access to a water supply (preferably outdoors) and 1 normal (240V) house electricity socket (this can be indoors without any problems).
